1. Introduction

Welcome to O'Klaire Optik. By using my services you agree to the terms below.

2. Services

I provide professional optical services: frames, prescription lenses and prescription sunglasses, fitted and adjusted in person, at your home or at a pop-up date.

I dispense to a prescription written by an optometrist or an ophthalmologist. I do not carry out eye examinations, and I cannot write or change a prescription.

3. Appointments

• Appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Inside 24 hours, please call me rather than using the website.
• Late arrivals may result in the visit being rescheduled.
• I reserve the right to reschedule appointments as needed, and will give you as much notice as I can.

Booking is free and there is no call-out fee. Nothing is charged online.

4. Returns and exchanges

Custom prescription lenses are made to your measurements and cannot be resold, so a purchase is not returnable because you have changed your mind. Returns are accepted where the product is defective.

Separately from that, frames and lenses carry a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Adjustments after a fitting are included at no charge for as long as you wear the glasses, and are carried out on my next scheduled visit to your area rather than as a separate call-out.

5. Privacy

Your personal health information is protected under PIPEDA and the applicable New Brunswick health privacy legislation. The privacy policy sets out what I collect, how long I keep it, and what you can ask me to do about it.
